Your investment when hiring me

In efforts to keep my pricing transparent for those who are interested in working with me, or are currently working with me to see; this is a breakdown of what I charge, how & when

Changes in bold, as of February 4, 2025

Initial Consult  -$400 + tax (plus admin fee)

Initial consult needs to be paid to book consult. No Payment = No Consult.

60 - 90 minutes, catered to your farm + focused on asking the right questions to maximize potential + focus on your plans & goals.

OUT OF POCKET expense for programs. Not covered.

Hourly fee - $175/hour + GST

Any hours involved in developing, discussing, providing support on planning or in season implementation of your plan. This portion is a professional service covered by RALP, OFCAF administered through RDAR.

Covered at 85% to 100%.

Admin fee - $40+tax

Covers technology, consumables like paper, subscriptions, etc. required to service you. Added to each invoice

RUSH FEE - $500 / per bmp - effective February 1 of each calendar year

Added post February 1, to clients wishing to expedite a meeting in hopes of building a plan in time for program application. This is to compensate for lack of work life balance, fast pace working hours needed to get everything in order for your technical plan, discussing options, technical agronomic advice + rotational grazing pasture management discussions + advice.

Application fee - waived for all clients of Scattered Spruce Ag Services. A total dollar value of 1-2 hours labour @ $175/hour = $175-$350 value, not charged for.  Effective for 2025 grant season, effective January 1, 2025

Reporting for programs - is an additional add on (yet highly recommended) to ensure program compliance. Fees are the hourly fee - it is just an out of pocket expense for you. This is new, and effective February 4, 2025

Depending on your farm, programs applied for consulting charges, levels of coverage, etc. may vary. Estimates are just that - actual billing is based on hours spent on your file preparing a technical plan.
